I am happy to report that I had an opportunity to interview Matthew Lillard whose film Fat Kid Rules the World wrapped up the circuit at the Savannah Film Festival. The article featuring Lillard will come out in a future issue of Gulfstream’s magazine Nonstop.Lillard is not new to the business, and he’s one of these actors that blends so seamlessly into various genres that you can’t remember his last part. How about his role as one of the original killers in the Scream franchise or his role opposite George Clooney in The Descendents. Okay, okay, you know him has Shaggy in the Scoopy-Doo movies, but, personally, I assured my Facebook friends of another credit which has allowed a celebrity notch in my bed post. Matthew Lillard has acted in an episode of House with Hugh Laurie. Per the sacred contract that is Kevin Bacon’s six degrees of separatation: Acting is intimate. Matthew Lillard has been intimate with Hugh Laurie (as a professional actor), and by speaking with him on the phone…I have been intimate with Hugh. It’s a personal and professional reach-around that I was pleased to scribble into my diary.
It was the following that, prior to the interview, almost made me pee my pants:

“The article featuring Lillard will come out in a future issue of Gulfstream’s magazine Nonstop”. Pleased you interviewd him about his great debut. Will this magazine be available to purchase online?
Yes, it was great fun to talk to Matthew. Unfortunately, this magazine Nonstop is only for people who own, operate, or potentially might buy Gulfstream Jets. It’s not available to the general public. I hope to feature it on this blog at some point. The article is not about Matthew though. It is about the Savannah Film Festival.
